A definition
An essential oil is a non oily volatile substance. All oils are extracted from plants, fruits, berries, roots, seeds,leaves, flowers and bark. They are used in dilution with a carrier oil on the skin.
Aromatherapy
In Aromatherapy most of the essential oils are extracted through steam distillation, however some products are named absolutes. Absolutes are usually from very delicate flowers such as Rose and produced through a different methods. – Solvent extraction.
Essential oils all contain antiseptic properties to some extent, some more than others. tea Tree and Manuka are the most powerful.
Education in Essential Oils
By attending mini workshops or introductory days – everyone can learn to use a number of oils safely in the home. many MLM companies are advertising unsafe methods of use – so please be aware.
They are sales companies and learn foremost to sell without knowing the full implications of many essential oils.
Mixing and blending oils can be a complex process for the unqualified people and hence we are passionate about educating people andare happy to answer questions.
Methods of Use
Maximum 5 essential oils should be blended and furthermore, only 7 drops in a carrier oil for a full body massage.

- Inhalation
- Baths
- On a tissue
- In a hoover or room spray
- On cotton wool by radiators.
